Ocula has included “to where the flowers are blooming” among the exhibitions worth visiting in parallel to the 59th Venice Biennale. The exhibition, presented by Gwangju Biennale Foundation and the city of Gwangju, is a political homage to the Gwangju Uprising of 18 May 1980, or the ‘5.18 Democratization Movement’, as it is known in South Korea.
