The programming of Spazio Berlendis, a place inaugurated last June, continues the next 18 February with the fourth event of Bach Friday, the musical project born from an idea of ​​the members of the BACHaro Tour association, in which the protagonist is the music of J.S. Bach in dialogue with that by other composers between the 17th and 18th centuries.
The format is the one tested in four years of activity by the BACHaro Tour association, in which there are live interpretations by the cellist Federico Toffano and the violinist Alessandro Cappelletto, with short listenings led by Mauro Masiero, music historian.

In the first event of Bach Friday the cellist Federico Toffano played pieces by Domenico Gabrielli and Johann Sebastian Bach, talking with the music historian Mauro Masiero. In the second concerto the capricci for cello by Joseph Marie Clement Ferdinand from the Abaco are been compared to the fourth suite of J.S. Bach. In the third event, accompanied by the flutist Fabio Pupillo, the music that Johann Sebastian Bach, his son Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and the godfather of the second Georg Philipp Telemann wrote for solo flute.

On this occasion the violinist Alessandro Cappelletto will perform, together with Mauro Masiero, will illustrate the parallel stories of Johann Sebastian Bach and Giuseppe Tartini: two apparently distant composers, but who find the science of music as a meeting point and the particular attention to the violin.

La programmazione dello Spazio Berlendis, continua il prossimo 18 febbraio con il quarto evento del Bach Friday, il progetto musicale nato da un’idea dei membri dell’associazione BACHaro Tour, in cui protagonista è la musica di J.S. Bach in dialogo con quella di altri compositori tra Sei e Settecento.
Il format è quello collaudato in quattro anni di attività dell’associazione BACHaro Tour, in cui vi sono interpretazioni dal vivo da parte del violoncellista Federico Toffano e del violinista Alessandro Cappelletto, con dei brevi ascolti guidati da parte di Mauro Masiero, storico della musica.

stati accostati alla quarta suite di J.S. Bach. Nel terzo evento, accompagnati dal flautista Fabio Pupillo, è stata messa a confronto la musica che Johann Sebastian Bach, il figlio Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach e il padrino del secondo Georg Philipp Telemann scrissero per flauto solo.

In questa occasione invece si esibirà il violinista Alessandro Cappelletto che, insieme a Mauro Masiero, illustrerà le storie parallele di Johann Sebastian Bach e Giuseppe Tartini: due compositori apparentemente distanti, ma che trovano come punto d’incontro la scienza della musica e la particolare attenzione per il violino.

In the second concert, held on Friday 10 December 2021, Joseph Marie Clement Ferdinand dall’Abaco’s caprices for cello were juxtaposed with J.S. Bach’s fourth suite.
On this occasion the flutist Fabio Pupillo will perform. Together with Mauro Masiero, he will illustrate the music that Johann Sebastian Bach, his son Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and the godfather of the latter Georg Philipp Telemann wrote for solo flute, at the time one of the most popular and appreciated instruments in the German states for chamber music. It will be possible to compare their styles and concepts of music, but also their lives and careers.

Sarà così possibile mettere a confronto i loro stili e le loro concezioni di musica, ma anche le loro vite e le loro carriere.

In the concert on Friday 10 December “BACH vs. DALL’ABACO” another very important figure in the world of cello music will be discovered: Joseph Marie Clement Ferdinand dall’Abaco (1710 Brussels – 1805 Valpolicella). He was a Belgian-Italian cellist and composer who wrote 29 sonatas for cello and some caprices for cello. The musical programme of the second Bach Friday will focus on the latter, juxtaposing them with J.S. Bach’s Fourth Suite.

Nel concerto di venerdì 10 dicembre “BACH vs. DALL’ABACO” verrà scoperta un’altra figura molto importante per il mondo della musica per violoncello: Joseph Marie Clement Ferdinand dall’Abaco (1710 Brussels – 1805 Valpolicella). Egli fu un violoncellista e compositore italo-belga che scrisse 29 sonate per violoncello e alcuni capricci per violoncello. Proprio su questi ultimi si concentrerà il programma musicale del secondo Bach Friday, accostandoli alla quarta suite di J.S. Bach.
